    Of course they do or companies wouldn’t use them. Companies sink millions in to research to find out what will be effective in getting people to recognize and buy their products. Ad campaigns are set up to make the teens focus on a specific attribute of the product and whenever they think of that attribute they will think of the product. They persuade teens as well as every other age group.
