Internet Marketing Specialist Certification Program – How to Become a Website Processing Specialist

August 20th, 2010 No comments

Internet Marketing Specialist Certification Program

The internet has changed the way corporations do business, and they realize the need to focus on the internet more and more. Hundreds of major corporations, including scores of Fortune 500 companies, are paying website promotion specialists who have the necessary skills to spread their message across the internet. The students who go through the WPS Certificate program find they are well prepared to take advantage of this great new opportunity.

The work that web processing specialists do involves typing articles that reference the products and services of the companies they work with. The key is in knowing where to find the right websites and web services where these special articles need to be placed. If you enjoy typing and surfing the web, working as a web promotion specialist may be ideal for you. If you can type, know how to click a mouse and have internet access, there is no reason why you cannot join our other students and become a successful website processing specialist. Internet Marketing Specialist Certification Program

Because there are so few people currently trained for these positions, the pay for this work is excellent, as evidenced by the testimonials of our students. Best of all, because the work of a website processing specialist is entirely web based, it gives you the freedom to work whereever there is a computer and an internet connection, which essentially makes it the perfect work at home opportunity.

The WPS Certificate course is a series of carefully crafted video lessons, amounting to over 6 hours of training that you can do at home at your own pace. Most students are able to complete the entire course in a weekend or a couple of evenings. Each video lesson guides you step by step to help you learn where to type the articles for the various companies you will be working with. Each lesson is just about 10 minutes long, so it is easy to fit in your training around your schedule. You can be WPS Certified whether you live in the United States, Canada, Australia or Great Britain. Internet Marketing Specialist Certification Program

Internet Marketing Specialists Denver – How to Create a Content Marketing Hub Page on Your Small Business Website

August 20th, 2010 No comments

Internet Marketing Specialists Denver

Incorporating robust Content marketing elements on your web site is the #1 strategy for creating a highly contagious website that generates lots of word of mouth (or the cheesier “word of mouse”) as well as direct search engine referred visitor traffic. Internet Marketing Specialists Denver

Research indicates that over 90% of small business websites still have not caught on to this superior strategy for lead generation, prospect conversion and branding. In fact, web hosting companies who specialize in selling simple template add-on websites are still doing a brisk business even though search engine marketing is one of the most established fields in business and marketing today.

I have found that many small business owners who end up with the 3 to 5 page static (brochure) website usually did not take the time to educate themselves on the many ways they could add uniqueness (and additional profits) to their businesses by building robust prospect and customer education platforms online.

If you are one of the fortunate few small business owners who signed up with web hosts that support content marketing or who use blogs, you have the chance to build a very strong business marketing platform through the use of the hub page content strategy on your website.

What is a Hub Page?

It is a central page that hosts (or links out to) many other pages in such a way that it acts as a comprehensive repository for most of the information a web visitor might want to know about a given topic. It is the website version of a book or at least a chapter of a book because you can read the main text and then link to many other pages that explain sub-sections of the desired topic.

Planning a Hub Page

Because of the potentially high value of these pages, they require a lot of thought. Some factors to consider include the exact keywords and keyword phrases to use, the levels of demand for that information, the number of competing hub pages with a similar theme (or target keyword) and how to present the content. The aim should be to present content in a very user-friendly, page-by-page breakdown where each page generates well targeted-traffic, and also feeds traffic to the hub page.

You may also consider whether to incorporate a list-building mechanism (like an email opt-in form) onto your hub page, or whether to passively monetize that page through methods like AdSense ads and other textual link advertising. Internet Marketing Specialists Denver

An example Hub page – Small Business Marketing Software

Consider for instance, a content marketing hub page designed to attract major search engine traffic for the term, “Small Business Marketing Software”. First of all, one of the power strategies for selecting the keyword focus of your hub page is to have it be a compound term – that is, a theme that can be broken up logically into many other valuable sub-sections or themes. Such sub-sections (technically web pages linked to from the hub page) for this example could have headings like:

B2B sales pipeline management software
Small Business Email Marketing
5 Google Apps For Contact Management Solutions
Marketing Automation Software – How To Select

I recommend planning your sub-sections so that you can either weave them seamlessly into the text of your main hub page content, or introduce them in their own section at the bottom of your hub page content. Doing it this way also ensures that you deliver a great value in the coverage of your material.

Which Comes First – Hub page or Sub-pages?

I generally like to have the sub pages written first and uploaded as active web pages so that they can start to contribute to the traffic of the site while the rest of the pages are written. That way, when the main hub-page is complete it can be uploaded as a finished package. This may depend on your personality as well… I generally try to avoid the hassle (mostly imagined) involved with editing, re-aligning and updating a web page.

By deploying hub pages as the center piece of a robust content marketing strategy on your website, you gain immense leverage from the expertise you already have in your business and the effort you put into creating your website. Internet Marketing Specialists Denver

Internet Marketing Specialist Resume – Three Best Social Media Marketing Tools For B2B

August 20th, 2010 No comments

Internet Marketing Specialist Resume

Choice is good. However, choice can also be overwhelming and according to Hicks Law it takes considerably longer to make a decision when more options are introduced. At some point too many options are detrimental to the decision making process and this can lead to paralysis by analysis. If you’re a business-to-business (B2B) marketer, I hope to save you the brain pain and anxiety of evaluating the plethora of social media marketing tools out there by suggesting the best three you should start with: LinkedIn, Blogging, and Twitter. The one caveat is that if you start using these tools you need to keep up with it or your efforts will be wasted. Internet Marketing Specialist Resume

LinkedIn

If you’re in B2B marketing then you need to be on LinkedIn. It’s basically facebook for business professionals but with far more purpose. When it comes to B2B marketing, people buy from people and seek expertise over brands or fancy advertising. Having a professional profile on LinkedIn is a key component of establishing your credibility. From a personal standpoint it is also a great way to elevate you own employment prospects since it allows you to easily network with others in your industry and is often visited by recruiters. I want to emphasize the need to have a well put together profile – LinkedIn profiles show up in search engine results so it’s like having an online resume. Make sure to include a good picture, have a link to your website(s), and compose a succinct bio regarding your capabilities and achievements. You can also set-up a profile for your company. I would also advocate getting some “Recommendations” to add to your profile since these are one of the most looked at features. The best way to get recommendations is to give some first. The person who you recommend on LinkedIn will be prompted to return the favour.

The main thing about LinkedIn is the same thing as with any business networking association – It’s about developing relationships and sharing information. The great part is that it’s a business network association with members from around the world and millions of them. Regardless if you’re an engineer, software developer, advertising director, insurance provider, or heavy equipment manufacturer there will be tons of people in your related industry to connect with. A great way to connect with other like minded folks is to join or create a “Group”. Once you find a group you will be able to introduce yourself, post news items, create discussions, and have a mutual link with others that will allow you to add them to your network. There is also an “Answers” tool on LinkedIn where people post questions and others are invited to provide advice; this can be a great way to share your expertise and build up your profile. Depending on the popularity of the question, your expertise may be seen by hundreds of others. Besides making organic connections you can also advertise on LinkedIn and get very targeted regarding who sees your ad. Internet Marketing Specialist Resume

Blogging

As I mentioned previously, in B2B marketing people buy expertise and place more emphasis on the perceived credibility of the people they’re buying from than the brand or advertising behind it. In a recent 2009 survey 80% of Corporate Marketing Officers found their vendors as opposed to the other way around and it was primarily because of online research (Fuel Lines). The best way to communicate your expertise is to share it! Blogging is a great way to accomplish this and it also has terrific benefits for search engine optimization since blogging produces fresh content that search engines are hungry to find. Search engines end up ignoring static websites, so if you keep producing new content the search engines have a reason to index your website and give you more search results. More importantly, sharing your expertise provides value to your target audience and when the time comes to make a purchase they will hopefully already trust your capabilities.

It’s a balance to decide how much information you want to give away, but I’m an advocate of sharing as much as you can because if people are looking for the information it’s likely because they want somebody to execute a solution for them. If they decide to do it themselves based on what they learned from you then they probably don’t have the budget for your product/service anyway. If you do decide to start blogging, enlist the brightest people in your organization to contribute articles or hire a writer to help out on a contract basis. The most important thing is to make your blog a resource and not just a place to talk about how great you are or what the new promotions are. Encourage people to sign up for your blog through email or RSS subscriptions and track how many leads result from them. In addition, share your blog posts in appropriate LinkedIn groups if you feel they will provide value and also promote them through Twitter updates.

Twitter

Everybody new to Twitter has the same reaction – “I don’t get it? I don’t really care what people are doing at any moment in time”. Agreeably, there are lots of people who use Twitter just to provide updates regarding the mundane details of their life or just blab for the sake of blabbing. These aren’t the people you should use as examples regarding the purpose of Twitter. Twitter is actually much more popular with 25 – 35 year olds then it is with 15 – 24 year olds. Despite the toy like name, it is anything but. It is, in fact, a terrific source of news, industry information, contacts, and micro-conversations. Similar to LinkedIn, it is important to have a complete profile so people can quickly determine if your legitimate or a spammer. Use your real name as your username and provide a profile picture (which should be the same across all your social media spaces). Internet Marketing Specialist Resume

How To Become An Internet Marketing Specialist – 3 Simple Steps to Become an Internet Marketing Specialist!

How To Become An Internet Marketing Specialist

Maybe you’ve heard this before or maybe you haven’t, but the first and most important factor to become an Internet marketing specialist is your mindset. You must feel like a six figure a year earner or millionaire before you can be one. To do this just ask yourself, what do these people do? Do they exercise daily? Do they read personal development books or listen to CDs in their vehicles daily? Do they surround themselves constantly with people who are negative or do they search and build relationships with people who are positive and have more than themselves? All these things contribute to your mindset and the feeling people get when they speak to you and are around you. Mindset is often the first barrier people come to and most can not master. Remember this statement, you must first master your mindset to master your life and receive everything you want. How To Become An Internet Marketing Specialist

The second thing you absolutely need to take care of is your time. Now, something you need to understand is there’s a difference between being busy and being productive. Every single person on this earth has the same amount of time. We each get 24 hours in a day, 365 day in a year, etc. What you do with your time will determine if you are successful or not. When you work, are you busy or productive? Millionaire Internet marketing specialist are creatures of habit. Create a schedule with more money making activities than training, and stick to it. Remember, you have to be consistent for your money to be consistent.

Last step for you to take to become an Internet marketing specialist is to add a massive amount of value to yourself. By this I mean learn everything you possibly can about Internet marketing. 97% of the other people online are not going to be doing this. But you must understand studying one course or a couple of ebooks is not enough. Always continue to grow every day. An make sure you are following people who are worth following and on the cutting edge of Internet marketing strategies. Not someone who you have no clue what their background is. The more you know than others, the more valuable you will be to them and the more money you will make. What I personally do is master and move on. And I like how Tony Robbins the put it, “you want to add so much knowledge and value to yourself, that you will be able to give value to your mentors. How To Become An Internet Marketing Specialist

Internet Marketing Specialist Salary

Being an internet marketer can be a lucrative business to be sure. Working as an affiliate for an online merchant, for example, can lead to big commissions if you can regularly refer those all important clicks, leads or sales to the merchant’s site. Successful affiliate marketers also enjoy all of the benefits of working from home coupled with a lucrative and often ever-expanding salary. That is, however, after thousands of hours have been spent completing the arduous task of setting up an internet marketing enterprise.

Calling the shots isn’t the only benefit of being an internet marketer. Cultivating cutting-edge marketing trends is also something many in the business seem to relish. As with many other fields, the best internet marketers stay solidly one step ahead of the curve. Those in this business recognize the fluidity of the marketplace, especially what works when targeting consumers, and are always hard at work trying to tantalize audiences in new and exciting ways. With this comes much experimentation and frustration, but also the opportunity to create at an astonishing rate. This is a field full of visionaries to be sure. Internet Marketing Specialist Salary

Certainly, the process of designing and launching a lucrative website requires a great deal of work, skill and creativity, but, once the hard work is behind you, many affiliate marketers spend their days knowing the money will roll in regardless of whether they are “on the clock” or not.  Setting up an affiliate website brings with it some significant startup costs as well. Some internet marketers call upon private investors to help launch their businesses that much faster.

Being an affiliate marketer boasts countless benefits, not the least of which is money. That said, the success you seek will take time to accomplish. Only those willing to put in the time and possibly even the money to support their venture will be poised to reap the rewards. Internet Marketing Specialist Salary

Ims Internet Marketing Specialists – How to Find the Best Training

If you’re looking to open your own business, getting internet marketing certification is a good step to take. Knowing how to market and advertise on the internet is a skill that not everyone can master, but becoming certified puts you closer to reaching mastery than the average person. Getting the training is a good idea; however finding the right place to obtain such training can be stressful and confusing. No two training programs are the same; in fact, each program may stress something different. They all cover roughly the same subject areas, but some are stronger than others.

It’s not necessarily a good idea to always go for the internet marketing certification program that lasts the least amount of time. All it means is more information will have to be digested in a shorter amount of time. After all, you will be tested on the material, so it’s important to absorb as much of it as you can. If time is of the essence and you want to get started on your website business quickly, you may opt for the short program; however, the longer program may give you a chance to retain the knowledge gained. Ims Internet Marketing Specialists

Also, pay attention to the reviews each program receives from current and former students as well as other professionals in the industry. An internet marketing certification program is only as good as the content, so those programs recognized in the industry as the best should receive more of your attention. Furthermore, if alumni of the program are going on and becoming successful with their internet businesses, it may be an indication that they’re employing the concepts they learned in the program effectively. These are some of the signs you should pay attention to when choosing the right program for you.

An internet marketing certification will help you advance your business using the skills and techniques you learn in the program. Pay-per-click, search engine optimization, and quality copywriting are three essential areas to train in. Upon completion, you’ll become an internet marketing specialist (IMS), a designation you can put on business cards, letterhead, resumes-even your website. This shows everyone that you are knowledgeable in the internet marketing area and have been tested on your expertise. The techniques discussed in the program may be advanced, but they’re explained in a way that is easy to understand and grasp very quickly. That is important when it comes to information retention.
